LucasArts has announced Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. Having covered the original and prequel trilogies in the first two titles, Traveller's Tales are bringing the series' square-shaped antics to the Clone Wars spin off titles.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will include all the characters from the animated series, as well as some characters from the theatrical Star Wars Saga.
Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts comments:
“The Lego Star Wars franchise is a massive hit with fans, bringing in sales of over 20 million units worldwide. We’re thrilled to extend this experience to Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, delivering the humour and fun players expect from this award winning franchise.”
Lego Star Wars III is in development for the PSP, PS2, PS3, Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and PC and set for release in late 2010.
