ModNation Racers Announced for PSP

Sony has announced that, in addition to the previously announced PlayStation 3 version, ModNations Racing will be heading to PlayStation Portable. Not only is it portable, the PSP version will have all the features from the PlayStation 3 version.

Check out this quick rundown:

Step one: Make your Mod:
First, create your own racer. Choose a face, eyes and hair – you could create a rough and tough Mod to intimidate the opposition or a reckless driver who’ll wreak havoc on the track with insane stunts. Once you’ve got the basics together, you can get really creative with clothes, helmets, jewellery, masks and whatever else you like.

Step two: Create your kart:

Just repeat the above to make anything from a sleek, sporty number to an anarchic banger covered in graffiti – express yourself.

Step three: Make tracks and have some fun!
Either take your Mod out to tackle the game’s pre-made tracks or create your own track. The editor is very user friendly - drive your Mod around the blank backdrop. Then choose the scenery around it or allow the game to fill trees, mountains, houses and all of the details. When you’re done, you can race your own track, ‘remix’ it with new props, weapon pickups and obstacles, invite friends to race on it and even upload it to PlayStation Network for the world to play.

ModNation Racers PSP is arriving along side the PlayStation 3 version this year.
