Atlus' has released some new footage of their upcoming PlayStation 3 RPG, 3D Dot Game Heroes. The 'sword enhancement' vignette shows off the sword power-up players can gain from visiting blacksmiths.

It looks pretty sweet to me. A nice throwback to classic action RPGs.
Of course there is, just look at WRPGs they haven't changed since Diablo 1.
Two homages to Zelda in one year? And probably an actual Zelda game this year or next!

Day one purchase for me. The visual style is a great homage to 8bit classics.
I know they're going for an 8bit aesthetic, but this looks almost too plain and dull? It's just a short clip so maybe it gets better and the gameplay could be good. I'd like to see more.
