Xbox 360 gamers are already at war in the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo, PC and PlayStation 3 gamers? Not so much. That can change as EA and Dice have announced that gamers who pre-order from participating retailers will get early access to the beta on PC and demo on PlayStation 3 before the public release on February 4th.

The console demo and PC beta will both feature Port Valdez, a vehicle focused map for up to 24 players (32 on PC). Players will take control either the US or Russian armies in the game’s Rush multiplayer mode. Players will have access to five land and three air vehicles.
Patrick Bach, Senior Producer on Battlefield: Bad Company 2 comments: “After the success of the PS3 beta, we’re excited to provide gamers -- especially our long-supporting, rabidly passionate PC fans -- with another opportunity to get into the game before release."
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 arrive in New Zealand on March 5, 2010 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Thanks for the insight.
Played the demo earlier today. Seems pretty cool. I think there is a few changes with the controllers and there is a lot more swearing by the soldiers compared to the first one.
