Since its initial release on the app store last week Rockstar has been working to get Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars out as many countries as possible - now it's New Zealand's turn!

Today Rockstar Games announced that their Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable action title, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, is available on the New Zealand app store for iPod Touch and iPhone.
At just $13.99 it's the most affordable Grand Theft Auto to date!

What noodles?
In the picture above.
Syn's eyes were totally fixated somewhere else.
Just downloaded it and gave it a 5 min whirl. Not too bad, but I'll have a bit more of a go tonight.
Lol Rockstar trademark humour.
"some young guy"
"some young guy"
in broken ching-lish.. "can i hav... de.. cream of sum yung gai?"
Have been bugging Rockstar all week about when this is being released in NZ. They listened and replied back to me, so was amped to learn it finally arrived! I've spent over 2 hours playing this, and man, it is damn good! Amazing what can be crapped in such a small device.
Gameplay is diverse, graphics are great (boots to ingame from homescreen in 6 seconds!!) audio is good (can play custom music). Their is so much packed in this game I wonder why this isn't $20/$30 dollars. The size of the map is huge! Easily hours and hours of game time here, and this game is constantly surprising me with all the cool things to do. Well enough ranting, if you are a fan of GTA, this is a must buy!

You see noodles.. I see leopard...
You guys think it's worth it? I have already played it on DS, is it similar, or more like the PSP version?
Pretty great at that price?! Enough of this sort of price pressure from the App store might force PSP and DS games to drop in price? Maybe a little? Like maybe by half?? I don't think they have to exactly price match because they do offer better controls in most cases but if they sold day 1 for maybe $30 instead of $70+ it would be a step in the right direction??
