Tempting...
But as always u have to way up the extra cost for what u get in the edition. I mean im a massive FF fan but im not really going to go out of my way paying $30-40 extra for some goodies which are just niknak and novelity.

I agree. It's not worth the extra money for things that your really not going to keep and if you do are just going to end up at the back of a draw or something somewhere.

I think the art book is worth it, and the soundtrack is worth it too. It's an extra $30... I paid an extra $60 for a 40-minute, half-assed anime and two sh*tty plastic figures when Street Fighter IV came out. Now there's a collector's edition that wasn't worth it.

The decal can eat a d*ck but the Art Book should be providing it's not 10 pages long and about 90% full of renders. I think the OST would be a deal-breaker for most FF fans so it looks like a pretty decent set.

This seems like a pretty gay collectors edition. Nothing that special to set it apart from ones that came before.

Oh and I love how the exclusive art prints (which will be like the Uncharted ones and just printed on paper) are 'highly collectible'. I don't see how 'highly collectible' is any different to plain old 'collectible'.

FF Soundtrack would be pretty cool, and the art book has the potential to be worth the price alone depending on the content.

Pre-order the collectors edition at EB Games and you get a free FFXIII Calender with even more artwork so it nearly helps justify the price tag. Hopefully it drops $10 or so
