In Case You Missed it, Rock Band 2 is Out

In one of the quietest releases this year – literally, no one knew it was coming until someone saw it on a shelf - last weekend the Warehouse chain began stocking Rock Band 2.

Once word got out on the NZGamer.com forum that people were citing Rock Band 2 at their local warehouse stores we searched a few online stores and found nothing but the “Rock Band track pack 2”. Failing that we flicked The Warehouse's online store an email.

This was their response:

Good morning Morgan,

Thank you for your email regarding the Rock Band 2.

We can confirm that the Warehouse is stocking this item.

We would suggest that you contact your local store to see if they have the item in stock.

As the Warehouse is the only store with it in stock, it suggests they’ve imported it or secured an exclusivity deal with the distributor. Although this is purely speculation, you have to wonder why no one else is stocking one of the year's biggest releases.

Either way Rock Band fans, this is the easiest way to get your hands on Rock Band 2.

Update:

We can confirm the PS3 version is $94.60

Nope, software only but it works with rock band packs.
