Rockstar Games has announced that their upcoming western shooter Red Dead Redemption will hit shelves on April 30, 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
In addition, Rockstar has released a short trailer to give fans a glimpse of the explosive gameplay they'll get to experience come release day.

Is this a sand-box game?..
My first impression of it was that it was a Old Western Version of GTA.
I haven't really had the time or energy to look into this game too much.

The last good western I played was Gun so really looking forward to this one.
Impressive graphics, I wonder if gameplay will look just as good. Might hire this when it comes out.

I've been waiting for this since they first announced it, but to be honest it's kind of wearing thin. By the time they release it, it will have been nearly a year since they first hyped it. To be honest it is actually looking a little dated, just like GTA IV is now. I still want the game but there's only so long a guy can wait.
I like it, shows promise. It could have some great characters
I really cannot wait for this game, it looks beautiful.
