Tekken 6 Patched - Controls Improved

Published By: Morgan Bates   On: Friday 27 Nov 2009 7:00 PM

Namco Bandai has released another patch for Tekken 6 today. The update - which weighs in at 15mb (on PS3) - improves online play, enhances control response times, adds signal strength bars and you’ll be able to cancel a match.

Check out the full feature set:

• Improved input response: improvement of the game's responsiveness to button/command inputs

• Selectable search priorities for ranked matches: players will be able to set search priorities for opponents in ranked matches based on comparable rank or connection quality as well as location

• Optimized data transmission between fighters and spectators: fight data will be optimized in order to reduce the bandwidth load on the host’s console

• Signal strength bars: the signal strength bar will reflect connection quality more accurately

• Chance to cancel match: players will be able to cancel the match before it begins once the opponent's signal strength has been displayed on ranked matches

This update doesn’t include the online co-op Scenario Campaign mode, announced in the initial release news; that will be available at a later date.

Well that's gonna kill playing against anyone outside of NZ when they see our connections.

i might actually start playing this online IF it actually fixes how crud the online was before this update. Played my 30 games / won what ever amount i needed to to get my trophies then thort to myself "never again"
honistly the worst game for lag i have ever played. Friggin age of empires 1 back in 98 on dial up ran soooo much smoother

Patch does indeed work! I was skeptic about this patch, but I was wrong!

ALTHOUGH

still a bit of lag when facing americans, but that's expected right?

Try playing against another local, I had very little lag playing against someone in wellington. (beat him 7 times too!)
