Final Fantasy CC: The Crystal Bearers Dated

Square Enix has announced the local release date for their upcoming Wii exclusive, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. The latest title in the popular spin off series will be released on the 5th February, 2010.



The story follows a young mercenary named Layle, a crystal bearer who has been hired to escort the new passenger airship, Alexis. When the airship is suddenly besieged by a horde of monsters, Layle comes face to face with an adversary thought to have disappeared forever, on a quest that may threaten the future of the world.

Larry Sparks, Vice President Brands PAL Region of Square Enix Ltd. Had this to say on the announcement:

“Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is a unique addition to the series and one which will appeal to Final Fantasy fans and to Wii owners with a thirst for an epic and immersive adventure. We look forward to releasing the game across PAL territories.”

Looking forward to this and kinda of not too. The game looks awesome and sounds great but apparently it's comprised of mini-games mostly to the tune of about 75% of the game.

Holy Sh!t Ballz! Ive been waiting for this game for over 2-3 years since buying my Wii in London! NOW they come out with it?! Just when im looking to sell my Wii as I bought an xbox360 on my return and looking at getting a PS3 for xmas!
Dont care anymore! Will sell the Wii and forget this cartoony FF and get the real thing FFXIII on PS3 in March! :D
