2K Games has announced the special edition of BioShock 2. The pack features a bunch of extras such as a sountrack on LP and CD and an Art Book.
The special edition will be released with a recommended retail price of $159.95 on consoles (PS3/Xbox 360), while the PC version is just $129.95.
Check out the contents:
• 12” Vinyl LP with BioShock orchestral score
• Audio CD with BioShock 2 orchestral score
• Three vintage Rapture advertisement posters (rolled)
• BioShock 2 Art Book, 164 pages and hardcover
• BioShock 2 game
Fans can face off against Big Daddy again when BioShock 2 arrives in New Zealand on February 9, 2010.

$159? Sh*t, I am going to pre-order this sometime...
Not a bad price for what it comes with. That's a lot of pages for an art-book. It has a vinyl!

Looks cool, although I've never listened to a collector's edition soundtrack before so it seems silly to pay so much for stuff that is essentially worthless to me.
Art book would be cool, but the soundtrack... I just played Bioshock a couple weeks ago and I don't remember any music from it apart from "how much is that doggy in the window..."
No way, all gimmicky crap, not THAT into, the extras would be a quick flick and listen then discarded, not worth the ~$30 price hike for a SE. Will get the game though :) standard tho!
what a waste of money, i think id just wanna play the game!! what are you surposed to do with all that extra crap?? show all your mates who also dont give a crap?? then we all can create a huge pile of crap and admire it together!
I think the idea of the vinyl is quite cool Bioshock may not be my thing but other games yeah! thatd be awesome
