In great news for Left 4 Dead fans, EB Games has told NZGamer.com that they will be offering an exclusive baseball bat DLC code to go along with the early Left 4 Dead 2 demo release.
Although it remains to be seen how effective it is against zombies, the baseball bat is a welcome addition to the new melee weapons. It will be interesting to see what offers their competitors will respond with - t-shirts perhaps?

The baseball bat should be standard anyways its a melee staple. Just like the chainsaw.

When I saw it was in-game DLC I was like "Lame. I'll play Dead Rising for excellent baseball zombie action. BATTER UP!"

Special pre-order in-game DLC items annoy me for reason, cant work out why really. It definitely doesnt push me to pre-order thats for sure. Rather have an item like a tshirt, bag, blade, baseball bat, ginsu knife set... anything... real! :)
The bat is the only weapon that will decapitate the zombies :)
