Valve has announced details and release date of the Left 4 Dead 2 demo. It features a sample of The Parish campaign set in New Orleans French Quarter.

The demo will show off the new boss infected zombies and players will get to use the all new melee weapons to get up close and personal when ripping zombies apart.
Players can go it alone in single player or take three friends with them in cooperative online (who doesn’t want to take their friends into a zombie infested town?) The Xbox 360 version will also support split screen co-op for two players.
Pre-orders from Steam will get access to the demo from today, while those who don’t will have to wait until November 3rd PC and Xbox Live Gold members, or November 10th for those of you on Xbox Live silver accounts.
With new survivors, boss zombies, weapons, and items, Left 4 Dead 2 offers a much larger game than the original, featuring more co-operative campaigns, more Versus campaigns, new Survival maps, and the new competitive game mode, Scavenge.
Grab the demo and be prepared for the game's release on November 20th.

Played the demo whilst at Armageddon weekend just passed. It was brilliant!! Only two chapters in the demo, but still really fun. It was setup with for four players on 360's felt a little odd after playing the first one on PC so often. One of the new zombies is a little odd. The jockey jumps onto your shoulders and start doing...... something.... to your face. A little different but interesting nonetheless. Head shots are still just as juicy =D. Cant wait for the release.
I need to get me a desktop soon...all these great games I can't play due to my sh*t $700 laptop.
Im loving the great multiplayer co-op games coming out at the moment :)
Will there be no port for the PS3?
