Gamescom Rumours!

From this Wednesday Gamescom in Cologne, Germany kicks off and a lot of rumours are abound.

Rumour announcements include the PS3 Slim, some major PSP related news and price cuts for PS3 and Xbox 360 Elite.

Adding further fuel to the news that the PS3 Slim is on its way was the leak of Best Buys advert, pictured below -

Gamescom 2009 runs from August 19th - August 23rd and NZGamer.com has man on the ground to cover all the action. The titles on show are Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3 ODST, Forza Motorsport 3, Assassins Creed, Brutal Legend, FIFA ’10, Heavy Rain, Little Big Planet PSP and much more.

Yes, the times are - EA - 4:30pm (2:30am, Wednesday NZT), Sony - 6:30pm (4:30am, Wednesday NZT) and MS 10am Wednesday (8:00pm, Wednesday NZT) .

Wasn't that Best Buy ad deemed fake? I think it uses the picture someone came up with on NeoGAF or something.
Still, I do think that there will be some sort of announcement regarding a price cut, and new model at GamesCom. I have a feeling that Gamescom is going to be full of great announcements. So good basically having two E3's in one year!

Yeah as Kiwi said, the add was faked by a user of NeoGaf. But fakes aside, and boy have there been plenty of them, I hope we see a new model and a price cut.

Yeah I thought the ad looked fake. It just wouldn't have that info written there like that if it were real. It just happens to state all the rumoured features right there.

Im sure its real, its easy to fake photos but ive seen the Amazon Germany website that was advertising the PS3 Slim Konsole(till they took the page down), and that was no fake site...
