Last week Microsoft announced a partnership with some anime studios to create a series of short anime films based around the popular Halo universe. This week, we have a rundown of everything announced!

Dubbed Halo Legends, the films will be produced by such legendary studios as Toei Animation (Digimon, Sailormoon), Bones (Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, Fullmetal Alchemist), STUDIO4˚C (Tekkonkinkreet, Batman: Gotham Knight), Production I.G. (Ghost in The Shell, Blood: The Last Vampire) and visual effect specialists, Casio Entertainment.

Amit Desai, vice president, Family, Animation and Partner Brands Marketing, Warner Home Video comments: “The combination of the talent involved and the ‘Halo’ brand ensure the collection is something consumers are really going to enjoy.”

Keep it locked on NZGamer for screen shots and a trailer.

Who do you think would suit Cortana and Master Chief for the English dub?

With the trailer, the Casio Entertainment one looked much better (visually) than anything else. Hope it's good.
