EA has announced that Need for Speed: Nitro will be hitting Wii and DS worldwide on November 20th.
The Nintendo-exclusive takes a break from the gritty street racing scene of recent titles such a Carbon and Underground, giving it a more ‘Hot Wheels-esque’ visual style. IGN.com recently gave it with their ‘Best Racing Game’ award for the Wii and Nintendo DS.
Joe Booth, Senior Producer, EA Montreal comments: "The varied track designs, deep controls, and intuitive drift and nitro mechanics give players something to come back to for months on end. We wanted to fuse together attitude with car culture and the best of arcade racing, to create a new and unique racing experience for the Wii and NDS this November.”
