As you know, Square-Enix recently acquired Eidos. Now the publisher name of Eidos is no more, from now on they will be known Square-Enix Europe in terms of publishing anyway, games developed by Eidos teams will continue to bare the old name.
Unfortunately, the re-branding also entails an as yet unknown amount of job cuts for the Tomb Raider publisher.
Eidos Chief Executive, Phil Rogers comments: "Unfortunately we are expecting some jobs to be impacted directly by this in both Europe and North America. We are hoping to minimise this wherever possible and offer support and advice to any employees directly affected".
