Live Arcade Gets More Worms

Team 17 has announced that Worms: Armageddon will be arriving on Xbox Live Arcade this week. Their classic tactical ‘wormfare’ title was a hit on the Nintendo 64, Dreamcast and PC in the late ‘90s and has aged well due to its simple but stylish graphics, addictive gameplay and humorous battle cries: “Incoming!“, “I’m dead meat!” anyone?

The new title will feature these new weapons:
• Sentry Gun! Defend your position with this deadly guardian.
• Electro Magnet! Attract or repel deadly metallic explosives with this unique item.
• Bunker Buster! Use this vertical missile to dig out enemy Worms that have snuck away!
• Buffalo Of Lies! The Donkey’s nemesis, this Trojan Buffalo will cause havoc!
• Super Bunker Buster! Devastating below ground charge!

In addition, it will sport new gameplay modes and levels.

Worms: Armagedon will be available tonight for just 800 MSP.
