Starcraft 2 - Coming This Year?

Starcraft fans will be pleased to hear that lead designer Chris Sigaty has dropped a clue as to Starcraft 2's release date in an interview at computer festival DreamHack.

In the interview he says that they are aiming for a 2009 release of the highly anticipated sequel. Additionally, they comment on the single and multiplayer modes as well as the soundtrack, which will be performed by a full orchestra.

This game was announced in 2008. Forever was announced in 1997 Sooooo.....

Man I can't wait for this game! I actually only got into the original 2 or 3 months ago... After watching the e-sports programme on the Arirang channel on VoiceTV. I've been playing online with a mate and it's pretty damn cool even though it's 11 years old! Protoss FTW!

He says they "aiming for a 2009 release" which doesn't necessarily mean it's going to come out this year... I hope so though...

from what i know only koreans play this saw it on a how to identify a n00b "Play Starcraft and not be Korean" but looks intresting.... remeber playing this 8+ years ago? gawd... such an old game...

Yeah campaigns released seperately. Teran first. Multiplayer you only need one campaign to use each race

starcraft & alcohol = crazy lan parties!! yeah ive clocked up a fair few hours between SC1 and the Brood War expansion its so old but still so much fun!
