In celebration of inFamous, Sony has announced a free event this Saturday showcasing the 'inFamous free running team', a group of athletes trained to bring Cole’s free running ability to life.
Free running is the practice of getting from point A to point B creatively - think flips, jumps and spins - with the aim of moving as smoothly and quickly as possible.
In addition, radio station FLAVA will be handing out spot prizes to attendees and Sony will be demoing the title.
The showcase is on this Saturday from 1 to 2pm at Aotea Square.
Will you be checking this out?
Update:
Here's some photos from the event!

Not trying to be a douche..but what free-running can be done at Aotea Square considering it's currently being rebuilt??
Just saying..
And if the "prizes" you get aren't free lightning powers then I don't care.

C4, IAMTV, Red Bull and Puma will also be attending..
As for where we will be performing, we'll be in the only area of Aotea that hasn't been demolished really..and luckily our favourite spot; the seating area nearest Queen St :)

were they just doing backflips and dancing around poles? Lame.
Haha it does look kind of lame. I'd love to be able to that kind of stuff, but yeah, those photos don't make it look like it was a hugely exciting event or anything.
It looks lame though.
