The sequel to the award winning Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare 2 is due for release in November, 2009.
The Modern Warfare 2 story follows few years after CoD4, and the brings the return of Infinity Ward, the developers of CoD4 who's daring move to get the franchise away from World War setting into modern combat paid off.

It's with the ice picks I believe? Or it looked like it anyway. Brutal.

I heard that the COD4 makers split up and went thier won ways and now the split group are calling thier version MW2 but without the COD4 due to copyright laws. Is this verison the split group or the originals?
hmmmmm i sense them ruining it! just me though..... WOW was horrible compared to COD4

WAW was made by Treyarch (Not to bad really despite all the hate). This is made by the same makers as Cod4 - Infinity Ward. Its now just Mod2, they dropped call of duty as Actavision wouldnt give it to them exclusively atleast thats what I think happened. I dont think they can go too wrong with this game.
