Microsoft have confirmed this morning at E3 that Metal Gear Solid is moving to 360.
Announced by Hideo Kojima the title known as Rising will be an exclusive to the platform.
In a tricky move it appears that Solid Snake will not be the star of this Metal Gear outting, but rather Raiden from MGS2 & MGS4. This would lead us to believe that rumours of Uprising to cover the backstory between MGS2 and MGS4 to be true.

An exclusive MGS game on 360.. as a Sony fan I'm pissed
Weird, I've read that its multi-platform. Good for MS if its exclusive though...bout time since they've missed out on all the others.
It's not exclusive. A MS Exec was asked after the show had ended and he said something like. "There's a distinct reason we never used the word EXCLUSIVE when talking about MGS:Rising
Apparently not an exclusive, saw a listing saying it's coming to PC, Xbox and PS3.
Well there is the last of the meaningful 3rd party PS3 exclusives...You could see this one coming from a mile away though..

I also think it is multi-plat as they would of made a way bigger deal of it, and I'm sure it wasn't announced in the 'only on Xbox 360' section of the keynote.
God I hope they don't start cashing in and ruining the legacy the MGS series has.

This game is full on Multi-Platform. It's going to PC, PS3 and XBOX360. It's a nice point for the whole flame war too. I don't mind them sending this game out to all platforms considering it's not a continuation of the story we've followed so far with Solid Snakes story but more backstory to make it even more confusing.
