Sidhe's Next Title Announced

Wellington-based Sidhe Interactive has announced a PlayStation Network exclusive: Shatter. It’s their first original IP since GripShift graced the PSP and looks to put a modern spin on the classic Breakout gameplay.

“We were inspired by classics in the genre, but were very aware of the limitations that most examples don’t overcome, which means they don’t reach the full potential possible,†said Mario Wynands, Managing Director of Sidhe. “We stripped brick-breaking back to the base elements, and rebuilt it from the ground up. The result is a much more connected and visceral experience.â€

I'm hooked already, what do you guys think?

It looks alright I suppose, but everytime I see, read or hear about anything that involves Sidhe, I envision their next-gen installment of a Rugby League game. Sadly - everytime - my daydreams are crushed...
