Harmonix has announced some stylish new guitar controllers for the upcoming Beatles: Rock Band. The Rickenbacker 325 and Gretsch Duo Jet were used by Beatles guitarists John Lennon and George Harrison and these shiny new controllers will make you feel that much more ‘Beatle-like’ when blasting out those rock n’ roll classics - in front of your pets.
Both guitars should be out by the time Beatles: Rock Band hits store shelves in New Zealand.

So, will you rock out to the Beatles when Rockband: Beatles hits our shores?

I think what's interesting is the fact it's a Beatles game, and this MAY attract a whole new audience to Rockband. This move is very Nintendo Wiish of EA.

I liek the normal one the best. These ones look kind of chubby.
that bottom guitar is quite stilish. Same $100 price tag i hope, anything higher would suck =(
Ive yet to pick up a second guitar for RB2 yet so will pick up the rickenbacker as it seems any RB2 hardware wont be released down under in the near future.
And of course it will be a purchase, just like i did with RB ACDC i will import the songs then get a large percentage of my expenditure back via trademe.

Second one is nicer. I prefer to play real instruments though...
Nice! I do prefer the axe got GH by Gene Simmons though!
Man I have 4 plastic guitars already and I am definitely picking up George Harrison's Gretsch. It looks delicious.
