If you've been playing the original Colin McRae DiRT lately, like me, you may want to check out the following debut trailer for the upcoming Colin McRae DiRT 2.
The new World Tour mode is shown in the video, which is described as "the interior of which will form both the game’s front end and the gateway to new locations.".
In addition, an official description for the game describes it as "a thrilling new off-road racing experience with an extreme sports attitude that borrows from snowboarding and skateboarding culture.
We're not too sure what to think of this move away from the hardcore rally game we've come to love, but we'll follow it closely as we near it's release, currently scheduled for September '09.

Didn't Colin McRae die right before the launch of the PS3 version?
And what's with the random women in underwear/naked in the shower? It's kind of off-putting to know they've sunk so low to sell the game.
Just watched the trailer (extremely slow internet here) and I think it looks like they've gone all Motorstorm on us. Not that Motorstorm is a bad thing, I love Pacific Rift. But I just think that it's not what Colin McRae the series is about, and it's definitely not what Colin McRae the person was about. I think he'd be turning in his grave knowing this is what his name is being attached to.

Should just be Dirt 2.
And this name of the game... huh.. The game has allways been about driving... realism etc.
