Crysis Wars Trial Weekend

Crytek are giving players a chance to try out the new Crysis Wars this coming weekend via the site MyCrysis.com. To get into the trial all you’ll need to do is sign up with the site and you will be emailed a trial key as soon as the trial weekend starts.

It looks like after you install Crysis Wars onto your PC you’ll be able to play with friends via LAN without any time limitation on the trial leading up to the weekend. The online portion of the trial will run from 7am on the 11th to 8pm on the 13th.

At 5GB, it’s a pretty hefty download, especially considering the average data allowance for NZ connections. Having said that, if you attend LANs (or use Hamachi) on a regular basis and have been looking for something new to play, being able to enjoy Crysis Wars for free should be worth running the risk of hitting your cap.
