Ah, a Haiku, nice!

Better late than never I guess, I can only hope we don't get Rock Band 2 when Rock Band 3 is about to come out!

@ Alien Hominid: Nah they're cross compatible. Although there was talk of one of the upcoming music games having its gear exclusively to itself, can't remember what game though.

i think rock revolution's instruments are exclusive.

I think that's a pretty decent price, but I'm gonna wait for GHWT and then buy the software.

So, if RB2 was to come out in a few months...wouldnt it be easier to buy that, hire RB1, and use the export songs function that have now. WHY WOULD ANYONE BUY ROCKBAND 1?

Rock Revolution isn't being released with a guitar Peripheral, you'll have to use a rock band or GH guitar.

I'm buying the full set of GHWT and i'm gonna buy the drums for RB2 and the software for RB2 when it comes out and rent RB1 and use the export tool to save all the songs to my hard drive except the four that don't work so i'm all set. I'd rather use the rock band drums for rock band and the GH drums for GH, it'd be too different and they wouldn't play like they were meant to. The compatability matrix at Joystiq is updated frequently and shows that most GH instruments work on RB and the RB instruments mostly work on GH.

http://www.joystiq.com/Instrument-Compatibility-Matrix/

But this is far too late. That's what i'm gonna do.

some of the videoezy stores do I think. I rented GH2 last week in Devonport. I wanted GH3 but they lost the disk...

$80 (+50 for the song pack?) seems pretty reasonable if you've already got GH3 for Wii and just want some extra songs with slightly different gameplay.
