LittleBigPlanet, developed by Media Molecule, is essentially a platform game that allows you to take apart, rearrange, create and share your own levels. Offering crazy levels of customisation and an online mode that supports up to 4 players for cooperative and competitive play, LBP is increasingly becoming the poster child for Sony’s summer line up. If you want more info on what LBP is about, check out Liam O’Connor’s hands-on preview here.
The trailer released earlier today shows off some of the environmental hazards available as well as showing some cooperative (or not so cooperative, as the case may be) play between Sackboy and Sackgirl.
LittleBigPlanet has been given the tentative US release date of October 21st, hopefully there won’t be much of a wait before it hits NZ shelves. Until then check out the trailer below and stay tuned to NZGamer.com for any LittleBigPlanet news and updates.
