Konami Sorry About MGO, Has No Solutions

Metal Gear Online. What a novel concept. The best part is when it works. Unfortunately, that's something that doesn't happen as often as it should.

Huge levels of traffic caused login problems, with Konami being forced to close the MGO Shop and admit that payment records from customers had been wrongly processed. Customers that have been overcharged have since been refunded, which is nice.

Konami had this to say, "We have been taking numerous corrective measures since the problems initially started, but unfortunately there are no permanent solutions we can announce at this present moment.

"We would like to take this opportunity to express our most sincere apologies for the problems that have affected all our customers that have been with us since the Premier Beta back in April.

"We are currently doing all in our powers to bring a permanent solution to the ongoing problems in the quickest possible time," said the company.

Take a page from Nintendo's book, Konami, tell people to play some Metal Gear Solid 4 instead.

seriously, what kind of press conference is "go play our old games because we have nothing"? seriously, are nintendo even trying? ...not that they need to lol.
