Like Killzone before it, Resistance is gearing up for some portable treatment. Also like Killzone, Resistance will become a third-person shooter for its PSP incarnation. Sony played a trailer of Resistance: Retribution at E3. The game apparently takes place between Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2, and looks set to cover the clean up operation after the events of the first game.
Looking graphically quite stunning for a PSP title, Retribution looks set to be quite faithful to the series, despite being a third-person shooter. Everything looks just as you would expect, and weapons even have alternate firing modes.
Little is known at this point about the title, which is being developed by Sony Bend. It is expected to drop in Q2 2009 and will be, of course, exclusive to the PSP. Keep it locked to NZGamer for more information about Resistance: Retribution as we get it. Meanwhile, be sure to check out our E3 coverage as more news drops throughout the rest of the week.
