New Red Faction Announced

After an announcement about THQ’s financial fiscal Q1 2008 loss, THQ have also announced that as a result they are pushing forward their big name titles. One such title is a new Red Faction game! For the uninitiated, Red Faction was a first person shooter that let you blow chunks out of the environment.

Unfortunately, while the concept was undeniably cool, it was slightly limited. NZGamer sure is keen to see just how the ‘Geo-mod’ could take advantage of modern hardware.

No details, not even the name of the developer are yet known.
