Electronic Arts today launched "Harry Potter Premiere Competition", an online competition for Harry Potter fans across the Asia Pacific region, to celebrate the upcoming launch of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix videogame. The competition will be open to residents of Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, and Thailand starting today, accepting entries until 12:00pm GMT+8 on June 22, 2007.
The competition will offer the participants a chance to win tickets to the Tokyo Premiere of the much anticipated movie, scheduled to take place in Tokyo on June 28, 2007. Residents of the 10 participating countries can enter the competition simply by visiting the campaign Website, and answering the question, "What is the name of the group of students that secretly gather to learn Defence Against the Dark Arts from Harry Potter?" The answer to the question must be incorporated in limerick form, as the entries will be judged on creativity and humour. Two Grand Prize winners of the competition will each receive 2 tickets to the Tokyo Premiere of the movie, 2 return flight tickets to Tokyo and back from country of residence, and 2 nights accommodation in Tokyo.
