Highly anticipated movies and leaks are synonymous nowadays so you've got to wonder just how much of the leakage isn't intentional. Regardless, the material is always awesome, and always of the type to pump up the adrenalin. Transformers was a funny case in that as the leaks started people freaked - myself included - but as the leaks became more common, the material was accepted more freely, and now, well, now I simply cannot wait for the movie.
Take a look at some of the things which have hit the waves over the past few months...

What have they done? My word, this is truly horrifying... I've been fairly vocal about what Michael Bay and Co. have been doing to the Transformers franchise, but heck, I came to thinking of the movie as a new story in the TF saga, kinda like the new TV Shows.
But the truth is this - Mr. Bay is using the guise of the 80's cartoon we love so much to create an action movie with giant robots tearing s*** up. They're luring fans to what they're doing and raping them violently.
The Transformers movie you'll see next year isn't going to be a Transformers movie, no, it'll be an action movie tapping into the fanbase of the cartoons, exploiting their wallets, and delivering a brainless action-flick.
Like any other TF fan, I want to be wrong, I really do, but it just doesn't seem likely.
So why am I so angry right now? What caused this sudden turn of emotions?
This.

How hard is it to design a face which has already been designed? People say you need to change things up since the movie is live-action, that's fine, I actually dig the new 'bot designs for the movie (even kinda like Megatron) but this change here can only be likened to the following example.. Someone is making a movie about Jesus' childhood and they decide to have a Van Damme play him... It's just wrong isn't it?
But still, I hope I'm the one who's wrong next year, I really do.

So a couple of renders of two of the bad-bots from the upcoming Transformers movie have hit the wire today, check them out below.
I'm totally digging Barricade, and think he'll be an awesome character in the movie (Decepticon scout in the guise of a police car - bad ass) but I'm still not sold on Megs. Granted he looks better than previously his face and hands just don't work for me. Most of all, he doesn't exude Decepticon leadership stylings.

And if you missed it, here Mr. Prime is again...

If you haven't already, check out the new trailer here, it's totally awesome.
I'm sold on everything in this movie, just not Meg's. I imagine it'll only be a matter of time before I'm posting news about how awesome the new Meg's is, if previous events in the road leading to the movies release are anything to go by.

Looks like an anonymous source has leaked some pictures of some unpainted Transformers Movie prototype figures of both Optimus Prime and Megatron.
Say what you will about certain aspects of the movie, but these look fantastic! I seriously can't wait to see this flick.
The first Prime, I believe, is a sort of Masterpiece figure in a similar vein to Mr. 20th Anniversary Prime, and the other two are Leader class figures, perhaps Voyager... If they are Voyager then perhaps the first is a leader... More details later. I hope they don't mess up the paint-jobs; these are brilliant sculpts!

Pics of the bots are a dime a dozen nowadays but Paramount were particularly keen on getting this image off the internet. It's unconfirmed whether this is because it isn't reflective of the final product, or if it is perfectly indicative of such things.
It's... interesting. No, wait... After looking at it for a few minutes, I've gotta say, I like a lot. It's unquestionably better than Poultry Prime we saw a while back, without a doubt. It's very clear now what the studio meant by having the robots capable of conveying emotion; just look at those eyes!

ComingSoon.net has a few new photos from the film too (including a good one of Prime).

IGN has posted the first screenshot of Activision's Transformers: The Game, based on the upcoming Transformers: The Movie. The screenshot is from either the PS3 or 360, hence its prettiness, and of course it's of Bumblebee,
Personally, I'm looking forward to the Wii version as it harbours the potential to transform via hand gestures.

Frank Welker isn't it. Well he is, well, was (and forever will be in our hearts)... but now, we've a new voice for Megatron.
You may have heard of him before, if you haven't it, which is unlikely, you're a fucking tool. Hugo "Smith" Weaving is our man.
Head over to sectorseven.org and type in NBETWO and hit enter. Here, you'll need to click the glowing scorpion and check out the "emails", the one you want to read is the one titled "MEGAMAN DIGITAL SOUNDS FILES". Did you see it? Agent Weaving...
AintItCoolNews have also confirmed the story via their sources within Paramount/Dreamworks. Hugo Weaving, folks, is the new Megatron.
And if you didn't figure it out already - the viral internet campaign has now begun.

The Transformers live action adaptation went from shocking to incredible, and I don't quite understand how. I mean, when the hype started the movie sounded like it would be as awful as watching your girlfriend sleep with another dude. Now, the movie sounds so good that it could be likened to watching your girlfriend sleeping with another hot chick. As good as it would be to get involved too.
Check out these recently released One-Sheets for the movie. They're way better than the eye-poster, and that's saying a lot.

Oh, hell yes.

Yahoo Movies dropped a good surprise by adding a new image from the movie which is causing me impure thoughts. What's so special about the new image? It's rad. Optimus Prime vs Bonecrusher on a highway with explosions behind them. That's almost more manly than all the abs in 300 put together.
Click the image for a bigger version. If you were wondering, there's 92 more days until we get to see this rock out in motion.
