Lumines
Published Friday 28 May 2010 6:09pm | PlayStation Portable Lumines on the PSP is one of the PSP's launch titles which has been defined as one of the greatest PSP titles. Looking at its screen shots it is hard to see this as it just looks like a bunch of pretty colours. But take my word for it, this game is as low as $9 pre-owned at EB Games and cannot be passed up. It is a must have.
The reason why this title is great is because it never gets old. All that you really do in Lumines is match up bricks as if you would do on Tetris, but the bricks are in a group of 4 which may be required to be shifted around to fit properly. All of this comes with a soundtrack that is quite upbeat and simple. But it works. The visuals are quite colourful while a fair amount of gameplay is on the screen. It may sound like a rather dull game as we have all played Tetris before, but this is a whole new type of Tetris which brings back all the fun which it use to and still does carry with many of us. It can keep you going for hours and simply absorb the time. It truly is simple, but totally engaging.
For the low price you can get it at now days there is no excuse not to pick up this title unless you are a PSP Go owner who still does not have this title available on the PSN store. Just take my word for it, don't bother with any gameplay videos or screen shots and just go and pick this up for the dirt cheap price it is so easy to find Lumines at. If at first you suck, just give it a couple more goes and I can almost promise you that you will not be able to set your PSP down.

Wow, you went all out on this review; what a great job you did, Well done. Big ups here. One of the best reviews I have ever read in my whole life. You boiled this game down like it was a stock destined for the finest of fine dining Restaurants in Britain. Distilled the game until only its essence was left. Shoot for the stars. You're the man. The force is strong in this one......
Goodness, you sure do hold a grudge, don't you? Because I corrected one of your criticisms, you now go all out and troll every single one of my reviews? For a 36 year old man, you sure are quite pathetic to be trolling with such pathetic sarcasm.
I was just trying to be ultra supportive of you. maybe I went a little overboard; just wanted to show there was no hard feelings.
