Well well well, finally Gears of War 2 is here. It's been a week now, and the experience still hasn't worn off for me.

A few weeks ago, Fable II arrived on the door step, and initially I thought it was amazing. But, within a week, it had bored me to a pulp, and I was back to playing Gears of War 1. Fallout 3 and Little Big Planet also failed to tear me away from my Gears of War facination that has lasted 2 years with ease. In my heart I knew only one game would ever take the crown Gears of War 1 has in my mind (PS: GOW1 stole it's crown from GoldenEye 007 for N64) was going to be Gears of War 2. And guess what? It didn't fail my expectations!

I tend to be too busy to play games everyday, but for this one I created the time to complete the campaign in a couple of days after the midnight launch. I succeded in that goal! Yay! I'm telling you, even if you aren't a gears fan, you HAVE to play the campaign. Once you get into the heart of the Locust Hollow (their home turf) the graphics and art style just blow your mind. It's amazing. The level of detail at all stages of the campaign in staggering!

Honestly, I would like to write more, but after a week of Gears 2 I still can't keep myself away from it.
