I'm sure I'm not alone on this when I say that overall all video games based on movies are just plain terrible. Which is a really big shame because I often imagining being able to play as some characters from my favourite movies and shows. Unfortunately 9 out of 10 times remakes of videogames based on movies look and play like a big bag of crap.
One I did like was surprisingly Scarface: The World Is Yours.
I liked this because I always hated the fact that Tony died at the end of the movie and this game shows what could of happened if he survived. I also found it quite a lot of fun to play as well. If other games based around movies could be more like this then I think everyone would enjoy them alot more.
Please tell me any other movie games you guys have played and what you think of them.

Scarface was definitly one of the better movie games!
Quantam of Solace is looking pretty good too.
But other than that, i agree with you, most movie games are absolute sh*t!

What about movies based on games? I've heard people say that doom was crap but I sorta liked it. Specially the bit where it went all first person and he was shootin up the zombies lol
I also heard something about Halo being made into a movie... Anyone know what happened to that?

Good movie games for me were Tarzan and Hercules on the PS1. They probably sucked but I was 5, i didnt know any better.
Hercules was the first full PS1 game I ever got. Didn't even know it was a movie till after I'd played the game through =P Still one of my favourite movies too =)

The Lion King and Aladdin for Megadrive were really great games. :D

most of the James bond movie games were good. Nightfire was fun in multiplayer. never actually played the story tho...

Eragon the game was meant to be better than the movie. Then again the movie was so sh*t that it was a comedy. I laughed so many times in that movie...

They got like everything wrong. You'll regret watching it if you've read the books
i liked return of the king the game, that was real fun. my favourite character was legolas just cause hes the man

Movie games in general are usually just achievement rape games. Eragon, King Kong etc. There are some good ones though like Quantum of Solace, The Bourne Conspiracy (wasn't too bad). The Italian Job was pretty suckage too.
The Transformer games were pretty cool, especially for DS, but other than them I avoid Movie Games. TV series games are the same, but rarer.
This blog is kinda too short for 5 stars, but I like what you say so you can have 3.
