9/10

The game allows you to escape to another world, Rapture. After surviving a plane crash in the Atlantic Ocean your only hope of survival is swimming to the island and heading down the elevator to Rapture. A utopia for the smart which has gone into civil war after the leader of the movement, Andrew Ryan became a dictator.

The game is amazing with the normal thrill and skill of FPS but with a puzzle solving edge to the game much like Prey, but with a lot better everything. You pick up many items such as ammo and money in Rapture helping the game become less difficult and adds an element of searching which is helped by the bigger maps making it seem more realistic. You can pick up radio messages throughout the maps which give you a bigger outline of Rapture and it's downfall, if you collect all you get a 50G achievement

With all the gifted people down there, it was a matter of time before there was a major breakthrough. This breakthrough was "adam", a substance which can genetically modify your DNA to give you supernatural powers or "plasmids" which range from telekinesis to sending a swarm of killer bees at your enemy.

To get adam you have to extract it from little sisters, there are 2 or 3 in each of the 7 levels. But guarding the little sisters are , mind the pun, big daddy's, which are incredibly powerful and hard to kill. You can harvest or rescue the little sisters, harvesting gives you double the adam as rescuing so you are in a moral dilemma in what to do. Ultimately though you are rewarded more rescuing. The final scenes differ whether you choose to rescue, harvest or do a bit of both.

In conclusion, this game is a must-play for the 360. The way it deeply delves you into the storyline and making you think you're in another world is amazing. Othe critics agree this one of the best FPS' available on 360.
