Well E3 has been and gone. There were alot of great announcements and games shown at all 3 of the press conferences and while Nintendos bored me there was 1 announcement that made me ecstatic.
Golden Sun DS was announced. I am a huge Golden Sun fan and own both GBA games. Now while the teaser was short it did show alot of intresting stuff.
Some new info has also come about: The game is set in the world of Weyard. Unlike the previous games, the main protagonists and antagonists will be replaced by the original series' descendants.
Sounds very kool and some new artwork is out and it looks awesome.
I am going to be tracking this game very closely but now I have a reason to go out and get a DS.
The Sun will shine sometime in 2010.

Yeah ill definitely have to download this for my R4. i liked the previous games

But Golden Sun DS will most likely be a Day 1 purchase for me.
Never played these games. Never even seen then for sale to be honest. But they are getting a lot of love here so I guess I'll check this out.
Sigh I just wish it wasn't 2010...but at least now it's coming.
I know sucks its not comming till 2010 but then again Id rather they spend as much time making it the best they possibally can. I'll be preordering this. I hope they do some type of preorder bonus. I also hope they include a map like they did in The Broken Seal (Golden Sun) and The Lost Age. I still have those maps lol.
Golden Sun can father my children. Along with Battlefront and Dynasty Warriors <3
I wonder how well the battle system will hold up today though...there's been sort of a move towards non-turn based RPG's these days.

I agree. Turn based battles shall never die. If they change it to something like star ocean's combat (real time) I will kill camelot. But from what we saw in the teaser their still keeping it turn based. YAY!

To you perhaps, but to us who are Golden Sun nuts yes. We've been waiting 6 years for a Golden Sun 3. But Thats just the way I feel and I had to let someone know lol.

It will certainly feel like that. But atleast we know will be getting a awesome game when it arives.

yea, i used to play all the golden sun games on emu, guess ill have to by this one, but it'll be worth it =D

Hell yea it will. Ive got some really sweet wallpapers. If anyone wants them send me a pm and I'll give ya the link to them. There my pc and psp wallpapers currently. Im glad Golden Sun is back. I just wish they'd make a anime out of it. Make it like Fullmetal Alchemist. Itd be sweet.

Not at all their just a real pain to find. You can get them on the GBA emulator but if you want the proper games then your best bet is to look on trade me. I was lucky to get them when they still sold GBA games. All I can suggest is try trade me.
The Lost Age is pretty common on TradeMe, but the first (which you really do want to play first) is much rarer.
i have been searching my room for the last 2 Golden Sun games but alas, they are gone. I will have to reluctantly settle for roms in their place, those wee cartridges shall be mourned
I had always assumed Golden sun would be a DS release game when the console first dropped. I bought one and was heart broken to find GS DS didnt even exist! Thank the Nintendo gods it is now a reality

Thats what I keep thinking lol. If they based it on the novelation my friend did it would be brillent. Check it out a Fanfiction.net.
