Grunt of God's Profile

Personally Halo is my favourite game of all time! First off the Campaign.

The story is amazing. Its simple to get the hang of with you only needing to know the following facts. There were some Super Soldiers. You are one of them. Bunch of religous aliens turned up and killed most of humanity. All the super soldiers but you die. You escape on space ship. Thats the essintionals and theres a wealth of optianl background to explore as well.
The aliens are all pretty believable with only one or two mistakes (the elites eyes having no irises/pupils?) and fun to fight. Also when killed on an edge bodys have a tendency to stretch in alarming ways often distorting their face and arms.
he A.I is smart, knowing when to retreat and when to attack. The plot twist is pretty cool and sets up some great multi faction battles.
The enviroments are massive in some parts, with the backgrounds well textured. The ring reaching of into the distance is especially awseme.
The charactors are great with the brave Captain Keys and the witty yet helpfull Cortana.
The weapons are varied and inventive, I love the no reload yet overheating plasma weapons. How ever there is a biase towards human weapons with them greatly outnumbering the alien ones. Also the pistol seems riducasly over powered but luckily not good at long range and anti-vechile fire.

Multiplayer is awseme with vechicleuer carnage and infantry chaos everywhere. The maps are great with small three player maps to massive sixteen player mapsThey are balanced and a blast to play.
The game types arnt the most origanel (with Deathmatch renamed slayer and Capture the Flag in the lead) but some like the Juggernought variant of Oddball and Race are great fun.
Vechiles are well used with the three seater Warthog, the one man Ghost and the potentilly five man power house Scorpian.

As said before Halo is one of the best games ever made and fully deserves a ten out of ten. How ever some dogy dead bodys and an overpowered pistol bring it down a mark.
