**Microphone slides down**

"Laddies and gentleman, boys and girls and Little Big people from all walks of life (Yes that includes you Donald Trump) LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!"

"In the Blue corner weighing in at a very waxy 1kg and standing at a bright 10cm, with a habbit of making dark places lighter and hollowing from the shelf next to my T.V I present to you the fireing Candle!"

**Crowd goes wild** (no im not pluging the show, but it is a good show aye?)

"And standing in the Red corner, tipping the scales at a gen defining 7kg and standing 20cm over its compitition, it calls Japan its home. I present to you the world beating PS3!

**Crowd goes nuts!** (no repetitivness here.)

"Welcome to this Maori television presentation of the biggest show on the earth. Im Clint Brown and i'll be bringing you tonights action all the way from some blokes lounge. So get the kids out of bed, give them a demon and tie yourself in for this epic battle between two fine competitors as this should be a humdinger folks."

Okay so this is actually me speaking now. Me and ma mate were getting our Pro Evo on, when all of a sudden I crack in a screamer and the scoreline reads 1-0 to me. As a witty gamer should always do, he comes up with the ol "Oh mate the sun glare is killing me" excuse. So to rectify things I get up to pull the curtain.

"So lets get round 1 underway. Both The candle and PS3 are looking to gain dominence with the jab but neither can gain the upperhand, however it looks as if the PS3 seems to have grown a Resistance to body shots."

**Ding ding ding!** (Cue hot chick holding up a peice of cardboard saying round 2)

"Looks as if both cut men have done a resonable job. BUT whats this!!! the candle is starting to take advantage of the PS3's 7kg frame and dancing circles around it! O'hhh, O'oooo, E'eeee. THE PS3 HAS GONE DOWN! THE PS3 HAS GONE DOWN! It looks like we may already have a winner on our hands, the ring has turned into a Killzone!

Okay me again. When pulling the curtian across, I accidently knocked the candel of the shelf which sits next to the PS3, and BAM! Yep the candel landed squarely on the PS3. And what do ya know, the PS3 all of sudden turns of and I get one of these.....

Right now Im thinking all hope is lost and that my 60gb model will be replaced by a shitty arse 40/80gb model, but.......

**Ref: ....5,6,7,8.....**

"WHAT IS THIS, WHAT IS THIS! The PS3 is getting up folks, its telling its trainer to keep the white towel in the pocket. It looks like its gonna fight on. This is unbeleavable people, this is truly an heroic performance by the PS3.

**cue super slow-mo camera and Contender music**

BOOOOSHHHHHKAAAA!!! The PS3 has gone up a gear to deliver a metal like knockout blow, and the candel has hit the campus with a solid thump. WE HAVE A WINNER!!!"

"Well thanks for joining us here in the some blokes lounge for what was a battle of epic porportoins. Im Clint Brown saying BooYa!"

Me again for one last time. So after pulling out every cord connected to the PS3 and pluging it in back again, not to mention preying to the man above. The PS3 started to work again. Wow I cant even begin to explain the sence of relief that came over me once it started working again.

So what is the biggest blow your gaming machine has suffered but still stood on its own two legs?

Peace.

And happy gaming.

A lot of dribble really but when you finally got to the point it's a good luck story pure and simple. Try pouring wax down it's vents again and see what happens this time.

Me and my mates were having a few drinks at our flat one time, and a minor wrestle resulted in a beer being knocked over and spilt all over the floor, which my ps3 happened to be sitting on at the time.. Still not sure to this day if any beer actually got in through the vent holes at the bottom, as it still seems to work fine. Hopefully it doesnt go blue screen on me anytime soon, was a bit of a scare.. Moral of the story, dont mix drunk people and Ps3's

My home entertainment unit has a crappy slid out shelf, u know one of the ones that just sits on plastic studs. For some stupid reason 360 on bottom dvd player and ps2 on shelf. Moved the uit to get at plugs behind t.v crash, bang, fear, gaming life flashing before eyes. 360 survives, dvd layer ps2 move to floorsville.

Besides a hardly visible scratch on the chrome trim, it seems as good as gold.

"Moral of the story, dont mix drunk people and Ps3's"

Ummm I put my 360 in the boot of my car, took it to the middys. Leave her to it. Come back to hear it churning...

I take out the game and see that the game has nice deep circle engraved.. The console keeps making this harsh sound.

I resurface the game and it stops? No more scratching!
