This is a great competition, but I've always wondered about why these types of comps are set up like this. The runner up prize is a bit redundant isn't it? Surely, the far majority of those entering this competition don't have a 3DS (and presumably, that's the goal of Nintendo, to get someone new to have the hardware + promote). Therefore, anyone who got the runner up prize of a 3DS game would have no way of actually using it.

Just, seems, odd.
